
Reagan was the one giving her CPR until paramedics arrived the night she made her way to Glory in 2000. Both having a passion for chocolate, they often joked about one day being in Heaven together eating all the chocolate they wanted. They had an amazing relationship, a treasure to each other. She moved to Houston in 1992 and became the mother Reagan had lost as a boy. Reagan acquired his Bonus Mother, Mable Wright when he married Eugenia. They eloped on Augin Brazoria County then had their church wedding on Octoat Braeswood Church in Houston. Reagan met his soul mate, Eugenia, at a church singles fellowship that was held at her daughter’s home on May 18, 1991. He never tired of ministry work and was blessed to serve with Pastor Rose as well as Pastors Earl and Steve Banning. Pastor Rose immediately put him to work in the Visitor Center and he was a greeter before every 8:00 a.m.

He never turned down an opportunity to volunteer any place in the church as needed or requested. Reagan began his Faith walk at Braeswood Church on Maand never looked back. He faithfully went each day until he no longer had the stamina to do so. This would later lead him to his career in the IBM Mid Range Industries where he worked forty nine years with forty two of them as a consultant.

He received his degree in Software Design. After his Honorable discharge he went to Angelina College. He served during the Vietnam War from 1964 until 1970 and earned the National Defense Service Medal. He graduated from Sabine High School and enlisted in the United States Navy. Reagan began his life journey on Jin Pineland, Texas where he was born to parents Kinnie Lee and Mabel Loyce (Cox) Jacks. He had family and friends by his side reading the Word and singing Amazing Grace as he left this earth and went into the presence of the Living Word.

Jacks, 72, of Manvel was ushered home into the arms of Jesus on Jafter a long anticipated wait to get there.
